The name Elemar is a melding of complementary concepts: Ele-mar(a). Ele stands for the natural Elements. Mara, in Buddism, is associated with death, rebirth, and desire. Together, they symbolize essential being. The flowing and asymmetrical beauty of mountains and rivers is effortless, as are we. This is why we seek out components that you can see are created by nature. We chose unpolished, naturally shaped Keshi pearls to adorn chains designed to flow like water. Our two special gemstones, Aventurine and Zircon, are cherished in Asian culture for their ability to protect and balance energy.
